Day 01: Nairobi - Samburu
Distance: 360 km (5 hrs, 30 min). Drive north through cultivations of coffee and pineapple to Mountain Lodge on the slopes of Mount Kenya for a sumptuous lunch. In the afternoon continue on to Samburu National Reserve. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge, B, L,D.
Day 02: Samburu
Full day of game viewing drives in this dry semi-arid park with its striking background view of the Mathew's Range. The gently flowing Uaso Nyiro River, which traverses this Park, provides evergreen vegetation for the rare gerenuk, Grevy zebra and reticulated giraffe found in this park. All meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge, B, L,D.
Day 03: Samburu - Treetops
Distance: 210 km (3 hr.). Soon after breakfast at the Lodge, retrace your route to Nyeri. A country style lunch at Outspan Hotel. In the afternoon transfer into the Aberdare National Park to Treetops for an evening and night of game watching. Overnight accommodation at Treetops, B, L,D.

Day 04: Treetops - Naivasha - Masai Mara
Distance: 180 km (2 hrs. 30 min.) & 250 km (4 hrs.). Transfer to Outspan Hotel for breakfast and depart to Naivasha for lunch at Lake Naivasha Country Club. In the afternoon continue to the Masai Mara. To grasp the true feeling of Africa there is nothing better than the Masai Mara experience. This well watered park crossed by the Mara River is a permanent home for large herds of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes coexisting with predators such as lions, hyenas, leopards and cheetahs. Dinner & overnight at Mara Serena Lodge, B, L,D.

Day 05: Masai Mara
Sunrise and sundown are the greatest moments for game viewing in these mystic plains, a time where the soft red hues of the sun will give your photographs the clarity of the actual African savannah. Full day of game drives with overnight accommodation at Mara Serena Lodge, B,L,D.
Day 06: Masai Mara - Nairobi - Amboseli
Distance: 300 km (4 hr. 30 min) & 250 km (4 hrs.). After breakfast drive to Nairobi arriving on time for lunch at Nairobi Serena Hotel. Afternoon drive south to Amboseli National Park. Game viewing en route to your lodge with the immense grandeur of Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge, B, L,D.

Day 07: Amboseli - Tsavo West
Distance: 220 km (3 hrs. 30 min). Dawn and morning game viewing drives. Breakfast and lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon drive to Tsavo West National Park. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge, B, L,D.
Day 08: Tsavo West - Salt Lick
Distance: 150 km (2 hrs.). Morning game viewing drive. Breakfast and lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon visit to Mzima Springs en route to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the amazing Saltlick Lodge designed for lofty game viewing from its thatched roof rondavels and walkways, B, L,D.
Day 09: Salt Lick - Mombasa
Distance: 250 km (3 hrs. 30 min). After breakfast drive to Mombasa, B
Remarks
*Only a small overnight bag is permitted at the Treetops Lodge/Ark Lodge, storage facilities are available at the "base hotel". Children below 7 are not admitted.
*The tour may return to Nairobi instead of ending up in Mombasa.

Mount Kenya is Africa’s second highest mountain at 5,199m (17,058 feet) and the highest of all Kenya Mountains. Mount Kenya is roughly circular, about 60km across at the 200mm contour, where the steep font hills rise out of the gentler slopes of the centered highlands. At the centre of the massif, the main peaks rise sharply from around 4,500m to the main summit of Batian 5,199m, Nelion 5,188m and point Lenana 4,985m. Other major summits on the mountain include Point Piggott 4,957m, Point Dutton 4,885 and Point John 4,883m. Of the three main peaks (Batian, Lenana and Nelion), only point Lenana can be reached by trekkers and the other two being only for technical climbers.

Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro stands on featureless part of the East African plateau, on the Tanzanian side of the Kenya border near Moshi, side by side with the smaller Mount Meru. These mountains are extinct volcanoes, with Kilimanjaro actually being the agglomeration of three distinct volcanoes, Kibo (5896m/ 19,340 ft), Mwenzi (5,149 / 16,896 ft) and Shira (3,962m / 13,000 ft). whose violent creation is geologically associated with the creation of the Great Rift Valley, 100km to the West.

Mount Meru is Mount Kilimanjaro's little sister, standing at 4,566m compared to 5,895m, but is still an impressive freestanding volcano, which makes a superb four day climb to the top. It last erupted in 1910 therefore can be classified as an active volcano. The first Mount Meru ascent was made by Dr. Fritz Jaeger, 1904. The town of Arusha lies at the base of Mount Meru Trekking, loads of trek companies do this trek. Wild animals are frequently found on this mountain therefore an armed ranger usually accompanies the trekkers.
